June 20-21, 2023, the SME Bank of Cambodia (SME Bank) collaborated with the Policy Research Institute (PRI) of the Ministry of Finance, JAPAN, and the Japan Finance Corporation Micro Business and Individual Unit (JFC-Micro) to organize a seminar on “Credit Analysis” to share their successful experiences and methodologies applied in Japan with the SME Bank’s Credit and Management teams. Approximately 30 participants from various roles: Senior Management, Middle Management, Branch Managers, Relationship Officers, and others attended the session.

The Seminar was conducted at the SME Bank’s Head Office, presided over by Dr. Lim Aun, CEO of SME Bank, Mr. Kazuhide ISHIWAKA, Director of the International Cooperation Division of PRI, and Mr. Nobuyo HIRATA, Director of International Cooperation of JFC-Micro. The preparation of this seminar is a part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation, signed on June 7, 2023, between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia and PRI of the Ministry of Finance of Japan, together with SME Bank and JFC-Micro.
