JOB OVERVIEW

Key Responsible for managing staff and directing the implementation of technological solutions across diverse teams. Recommends & implements information technology strategies, policies, and procedures within functional unit, participates in implementation across functional units. A key focus of this position is managing and developing bank system to achieve bank strategic and department action plan of SME Bank of Cambodia Plc.

Processes include the below activities:

  • Core Banking System Support for Operation
  • Analysis and design System follow business’s requirement for Application Development
  • Problem Solving that related to System and Projects
  • Create user’s manual/guidelines and train to end-user
  • Daily Support (Core Banking System Operation, MIS Report)
  • MIS Report (Develop/modify/Deploy operation)
  • User Maintenance (Create Update and Delete)

The role requires extensive knowledge on Banking Process in Banking System, Banking System Operations Process, Application Development,        Core Banking System implement, operation and MIS report

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • This position manages work across multiple information systems & projects.
    • Analysis and design system follow business’s requirement.
    • Control/Perform all local developments for banking system.
    • Develop/modify/Deploy operation and MIS report as required by Senior Management.
    • Plan to Develop/upgrade system to improve bank’s service and reduce manual work.
    • Create user’s manual/guidelines and train end-user.
    • Drive timeous resolution of business support or change requests in line with agreed SLA.
    • Analyses user processes and produce data and process flow diagrams as well as reports and recommendations for improvements. Work with departments to design and implement more effective business processes.
    • Participate in industry associations to ensure the Bank remains abreast of changes and developments that may impact its operations.
    • Manage risk and attend to business continuity considerations in accordance with set policy.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PERSON SPECIFICATION Knowledge & Experiences

  • Hold Bachelor degree of Computer Science Information.
  • 3 years of progressive technical experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Broad understanding of business practices and operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle & project management methodologies.
  • Strong communications skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to convey complex information in user-friendly language.
  • Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. VB, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of Database languages (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Understand about vision, mission, core values, regulations, and other principles of SME Bank of Cambodia Plc.

Skills & Abilities

  • Be a good team player with a sense of responsibility and adaptability;
  • Good computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Email and Internet);
  • High proficiency in English knowledge;
  • Ability prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Skills in managing, communicating, reporting, solving problem, and interpersonal skill.
  • High committed, confident and talent to work.
  • Ability to develop the banking operations policies and procedures and translate to actions.
